Improve Your Six Pack Abs Training Regime

Training is never easy. And it's my opinion that it's not such a bad thing after all. You want results? You get out what you put in right?
Well, not necessarily in all cases I'll admit. You can train for hours every single day as I've seen many of my clients do before and still struggle to get great results. On the other hand, you can do very little training and just apply some simple pre abs training techniques and already see the difference in a matter of days.

What I'd like to get at first of all is, I am not a fan of lazy abs training programs. I don't like it when I see programs advertised that say it's not gonna hurt when you get out there and start training. I'm under no illusions (at least that's what I like to think) about how hard it is to start out with any workout or training program. After all I've helped loads of people go through the process and seen it time and time again.

The fact is though, that although I am not into the "quick-fix" abs options that are out there, I do understand the need for consensus and a simple, time-poor-man's way to get abs, or at least to get back into exercise as a first step. What I mean is, virtually everyone would get abs if they knew it was easy and it wasn't going to chew up all their spare time (that's precious stuff!).

So here I've compiled a brief list of a few ways you can improve your abs training regime (or workouts in general):

  • Eat little, but some, before working out. Don't stuff yourself and don't starve yourself - one of the best things I find is a banana - loaded with energy, vitamins and nutrients and also the second fastest absorbed food.
  • Vary your routine - no spot-training or "targeting" crap! To make your six pack abs training work, you need to mix it up with all kinds of exercises - not just "abs targeted" exercises.
  • Do "Superman Cardio" - Forget about all that useless cardio junk you've heard in the past. Superman cardio focuses on charging your metabolism to burn fat constantly. After all - we all know that the only 2 breeds of people on the planet that do traditional cardio are:
    • 1. Fitness freaks that don't stop for anyone including their best friends grandma
    • 2. Fat people - and it's not working for them!
So there are a few tips to start out this blog. I plan on updating at least once a week so stay in touch for heaps of interesting and unique six pack abs training information.
